Wedding Anniversary in Accra

We spent our 32nd wedding anniversary visiting the sites of Accra - starting at Osu Castle and learning about its grizzly slave trading history; on to Independence Arch where a big workers’ day parade was soon to happen; before the chaos and noise of Makola Market - where anything and everything is available to buy.

We celebrated the evening with a visit to a local restaurant - where the pork ribs were so spicy I thought my head might blow up, but Andrew was my hero and swapped them for his most excellent beef tagliatelle - and still has his mouth and lips intact - just!
