Our arrival on the Global Mercy

So, after a four hour journey from Freetown airport to the ship, involving coach, water taxi and minibus, we finally reached the Global Mercy and were immediately impressed by her size!

After some preliminary introductions we were shown to our cabin. It is huge (as cabins go!), with our own kitchenette and shower room.

Best of all - we have a large window with a view over the ocean while we are here in port.
